@Sammywoko95 I haven't been through this, but having a smear test would always leave me worrying just in case, so I know a little bit of how you might be feeling.
From what I have read just looking it up, the colposcopy will help see if there are any abnormal cells, but having borderline changes in the squamous cells isn't necessarily proof there is anything cancerous there. Apparently they can change from time to time.
I really hope everything turns out clear for you, and I am sure someone else will be along who has experienced the same thing as you are now and will have some words of advice for you.
Gentle unmumsnetty hugs to you 💐

I had this and the worry is awful! I had to wait 12 weeks for a colonoscopy but it came back all clear. It’s a really confusing time and very little info on him many with HPV convert into cervical changes that need treatment.

I did find jos cancer trust helpful

Yup I had cin cells 3 (the worst type) and they jus burn them off, normal smears after that. It's good yours are only borderline that's the least bad of the abnormal cells

Ive had the same a few years ago , normal smears since thankgod ! . I’ve got one due next month

Try not to worry too much OP , hopefully you will be seen soon , cells change all the time after pregnancy etc , doesn’t necessarily mean is something sinister but I know the anxiety x

It’s so common op
