Tomorrow my daughter has an endoscopy, but for 10 months it’s been back and forth the doctors, ultrasound, blood tests and just me begging for more to be done. Finally we have an endoscopy booked tomorrow and then if nothing is found she’s asked if it will be possible to have a ct scan (she explained it’s hard to get a ct scan done on a 19 year old ) my daughter has been pretty unwell with this for 10 months, the symptoms worsen after eating quiet drastically, so the doctor believes it may be gallbladder related(despite pain being in both sides etc. the reason I’m writing here is just to see if anyone has been through similar? We are ofc already seeking medical advice but I’m hoping someone can relate and tell me there story :(

Poor soul how awful. If she’s has an ultrasound on the gallbladder area it would show up stones.

Her doctor went away and researched and seems convinced it may be Biliary dyskinesia which is why she referred her for the endoscopy. I’m just nervous about the appointment, she suffers a lot as it is with mental health. Autism, Tourette’s and functional neurological disorder/DID. Life is just feeling unfair for her :c
