Hair getting thin

Hi everyone,

Hoping for some advice and recommendations.
I'm 41 I have a 9 year old and since having my daughter my hair seems to be getting thinner, it's quite long half way down my back but nothing to it. I wear my hair up in a clip , as I don't wear my hair down unless it's a special occasion and then it's half up as it's so thin and no style. I am going to get it cut soon just below my shoulders and get it shaped and layered a bit to hopefully make it appear thicker. But ut is knocking my confidence a bit. Is there anything that I can use on my hair or take to help thicken my hair up and is anyone else having the same issue I feel like everyone I see out has luscious thick hair . Thanks for reading

Have you tried taking supplements? Mine was thinning and I think it turned out to be hair dye. Took Perfectil for a while and did notice regrowth. You could also check with Dr, ask for bloods as could be a symptom of something else.

Request bloods to check your iron, thyroid and hormones (and more, if you’re interested). Are you taking vitamin d and b12? I also saw a lot of positive reviews about the Cornish seaweed bath company shampoo and conditioner (expensive, though). But definitely do some blood work digging first to see if you’re lacking in something, and go from there. Good luck, hope it all goes well x

Thanks for your reply. I take b12 , and my recent bloods , my iron, vitamin D etc were all OK. Thyroid ok, but haven't had hormones checked . Thanks- I started using rosemary oil on my hair and it seems to be starting to help 😊🤞
