Looking after my son after being sterilised

Hi guys so in the next few months, I will be going in hospital for my tube tied but I’ll only have a sitter for the day time while I’m in hospital having the opp then I have to go pick my son straight up as I have no one to have him he’s 4 I’m just wondering how bad it is after the opp x

the usual rules are that you need to have an adult who can look after you if for at least 24 hours post op (and if there is no one then it would be normal to have an overnight stay) and you cannot be in sole charge of a child during that time.

oh well I’m just going to have to tell them I have someone with me as there is nothing I can actually do about it , what is the recovery like x
