Skin tag or something else?

Hi - was wondering if anyone knew what this might be on my face under my eye? It hasn’t always been there, noticed it a few months ago. I thought it was white spot at first so squeezed it but it hurt. Thought it then might be a skin tag, but then saw it looked like there was a vein or blood in the middle of it. It hurts to squeeze etc so unsure about tying a piece of string round it. Its hard on the end and then soft in the middle.

It’s really noticeable and i don’t like it. Wasn’t sure whether to go to the GP about it or just go to an clinic and get it looked at. Just curious to know what others thing it could be?

I’d just go to a clinic. A Derm referral is a couple of months long in our area, even for cancerous growths, it’s well over 13 months for non suspect skin issues. So, if you want it looked at and removed quickly and aren’t short of funds, just do it privately.
