Hair loss

A few months ago I started having some hair fall, wasn't extreme so didnt worry too much but now every time I shower or brush my hair loads comes out. Its so bad in the shower it clogs the drain when im showering. My scalp has also become very sore. I dont use heat on my hair, always let it air dry. I use unique 1 spray just because my hair is curly & helps keep the curls soft. I dont use hair spray or gels. I've tried rosemary oil, few drops in my shampoo. Have silk pillow cases to reduce friction but nothing seems to help. Whenever I touch my head the scalp is very sensitive to touch, especially down the centre parting. I've cut it up to my shoulders to see if that would reduce the hair loss but that didn't work. Just at a loss of what else to try. Its really getting me down when a few months ago I had lovely, thick curly hair. Any advice on shampoos, conditioners etc would really help. Thank you

Ah, I should have asked your age!
In that case, unless you have already done so, I think you need to seek help from your GP and ask for a blood test as that sounds like you possibly could have an underlying issue that needs resolving, which in turn will resolve the hair.
