Absent withdrawal bleed

Hey everyone! I am a 34 yr old F who is currently taking the combined pill, millinette. I have been on it for about 2/3 years and never had an issue before. I’ve never missed a pill and have always had withdrawal bleeds when on the week long break which mimics a period.
last week I was due my withdrawal bleed and surprisingly nothing came. I still had all my usual symptoms such as headaches and cramps, but I never bled at all.
I’ve taken four pregnancy tests and they were all negative. I have been to see a male GP who was lovely but didn’t seem to know a lot about this topic really.
I’ve read it can be common, especially when you’ve been on the pill for a while, for the pill to thin your lining that much that you don’t always have something to shed and therefore there would be no bleed - but he said this isn’t actually common. he said although I have taken four tests, I should take more over the next week or two - but surely if it was pregnancy stopping me bleeding, it would show up on a test right?

has anyone experienced this before? Or are there any medical practitioners out there who can shed some light on it this is normal or not?

suffering with health anxiety and terrified 👍
