Breastmilk 2 years later

I haven’t breastfed for over 2 years but can still express a small amount of milk. I don’t often try for fear this is would keep me from drying up completely. Have had some tests at drs and nothing obvious. Has anyone else experienced this and can offer any insight?

I can still express some and it’s been 6 years since I last fed DD2. As I understand it, if you were ever pregnant you can produce milk for the rest of your life.

Thank you. That’s helpful to know. Have been thinking something is wrong!

This is something that should be treated because it can be caused by an under active thyroid gland. It can also be treated with tablets. Do go to your GP and seek medical advice .
