Supplements for Perimenopause and returning to fitness

Hoping someone can advise, here.

I’ve been feeling so exhausted recently, probably all the usual symptoms of perimenopause except overheating. I’ve now had a bout of flu which seems to have morphed into post viral fatigue: I have had enough now, thanks!

Earlier I saw a random post on Facebook which seemed to be by a woman who had done a lot of research after reaching a similar place: she wasn’t selling any particular brand, in fact she said that as long as the doses were correct they were probably fairly interchangeable.

Her central theory seemed to relate to the decline of menopausal women’s ability to create energy at a cellular level. (That’s probably a terrible summary, but in my defence I skim read it and my cognitive function is in the toilet.)

I tried googling possible brands but found nothing- and then couldn’t find the post again. 🤦‍♀️

The combination she found worked included creatine, inositols and b vitamins. Has anyone else looked into this/found specific supplements containing these/benefited or not benefited from similar?

Id be really grateful for your input. Thank you!

I don't know about that particular brand but I've recently switched from a mix of various Wild Nutrition vitamins to taking Sisterly and really like it. No creatine so if you specifically want that it would have to be separate. But I'm finding the Sisterly sachets easier to take and it's for higher strengths of magnesium and other things I was taking than the tablets do.

Thank you, @Fitzcarraldo353

Had a quick look just now. It does look very interesting- but seems a bit generalised? I think what I was hoping to find would be more specifically for perimenopause. That’s not to say this doesn’t contain the same nutrients though, and recommendations are always helpful. Thanks again!

They don't specify it's for perimenopause but their founders, their marketing and the benefits they talk about certainly fit in in that category!

The Wild Nutrition ones I was taking before were for perimenopause. I was taking the general multivitamin aimed at perimenopausal women but found I was also taking magnesium, vitamin D, or omega 3 alongside it. With this I've cut out the vit D and magnesium but still think I should probably take omega 3. It all costs so much though!!

Have a look at the brand Fushi they have a range called peri harmony. I've used other stuff from them before found it to be effective!

None of the good ones are cheat. With other brands I found I was having to buy 3 different tablets a month to get what I wanted and it added up to even more!
