White tissue during period

Hi

Has anyone else passed medium sized amount of white fleshy tissue during their period?

Pregnancy test negative.

This has happened 4 separate occasions now. GP originally said it was a cast the first time this happened. But not sure now as it's just coming in chunks rather than a whole bit and it's white/grey (sorry TMI)

If this happened to anyone else what was the reason? I'm nervous to go to the bathroom incase there's more! Pain isn't too bad at the moment.

Yes, my daughter has had this a couple of times. A decidual cast; Painful but not harmful as far as we know. I hope your pain eases x

Hello. I’ve had this - mine was also a decidual cast. Looked like chicken skin! If it’s happening regularly I would see your GP. Mine occurred after I took a pill to delay me period to go on holiday so assuming hormone related.

Oh that’s reassuring @user64291 - that was the situation my DD was in, we wondered if the cast was caused by the delay (a couple of extra weeks of the Pill). Thank you for sharing 💐

@HotTiredDogyes. Was definitely that as never happened since! Must have been scary for your DD

Oh it was very scary, she was only 18, she certainly won’t be playing with the schedule any more!
