Anxiety about period not stopping

Hi, I was wondering if anyone gets really stressed, upset and scared that every month my period will not stop. As soon as it starts I go into panic mode it will not stop.
I know I am making it worse and of course it stops but I can't stop myself getting upset and scared. Does anyone know if there is anyone like a support charity who can help that I could talk through, or have any ideas to help me stop this every month.
Many thanks

Sorry op you’re going through this you must be exhausted - you can get a tablet over the counter now which will stop it - and obviously go and see a doctor but it might be hormonal . You can get tranxemic acid under the brand name Evana. Depending on your age the doctor will be able to help decide a best course of action moving forward ( I’ve had it - it was fine - was my hormones)

Is there actually anything wrong with your period (I.e. unusually long etc ?) Or is it just the anxiety? What do you think will happen if it doesn't stop? What are you afraid of and why?
Maybe the suggestion above is a good one- get the pill that stops the period and keep it at home "just in case", you don't have to take it.
Do you find period unpleasant? I.e. emotionally or physically?
