Pudendal neuralgia

It's looking increasingly likely that I have developed this and for the last 3 years this has been the cause of my intense pain during sex.
I'm so very angry at my GP for ignoring my concerns, telling me it was normal as we age (I was early 30s when I first went to them for help).
So please, I'd love to hear your experiences and know if there is hope after all.

I have been suffering with symptoms coinciding with this illness and wondering if this is the issue I have . Was searching today, because it’s particularly aggravating.
it seems quite rare and I don’t have pain with sex but do have other symptoms . Does it vary person to person depending on the area affected?
