What collagen should I buy?

Hi all,
Looking for some advice. I know it's probably been asked a million times, but looking for some tried and tested stories to help me decide which collagen to buy. I'm 42 next month and pretty sure I'm heading into perimenopausal territory. My hair feels thin and horrible (I've always had fine hair anyway) and it looks patchy around the hairline, my skin looks dull and dark circles under my eyes, fine lines are appearing and my jawline doesn't look like it used to. I know there are lots of collagen supplements out there but I would like one which specifically targets hair loss and dull/aging skin. I'm not expecting a miracle but would just like something that makes some sort of difference and one which is reasonably priced.

Please let me know what has worked for you and any tips and advice on what to purchase. Thanks in advance!

My friends all swear by nutrition geeks , I can’t have it being vegetarian but between my friendship group they’ve tried em all & this seems to be the fave

Also willpowders are offering free delivery at the moment until the 13th so a lot of orders are going in for that ( WhatsApp group was going off with excitement lol )

I use Nutrition Geeks Collagen powder and FINALLY my nails have stopped breaking, and i also seem to have less hair fall when washing or brushing it. You just mix a couple of scoops in to your morning coffee, it doesn't taste of anything so its really easy to incorporate in to your day. Id recommend it.

I’ve used a few currently using better vits capsules for convenience.
I’ve also used vital proteins, nutrition geeks, well guard and ancient and brave.
They all gave the same results, softer skin, better nails and stronger hair.
I had them in my morning coffee and didn’t notice any taste the ancient and brave one did have a slight smell but nothing too unpleasant.

I’ve used Vital Proteins marine and Will Powders bovine (I try not to think about bovine) and I think they’re both good. I’m perimenopause and with the WP my hair has never been better and it’s definitely helped with aches.

I’ve just bought Nutrition geeks, this is my third day, l have quite bad arthritis, my pain is much less, to my surprise. I’m going to the loo more, my digestion is improved. I’ve got good hair already and as yet haven’t noticed any skin improvement but it’s very early days.

Thanks for all the useful suggestions. I read the other day that pumpkin seed oil capsules are also great for hair growth! Anybody tried these?

Good for bladder control too apparently!
Or you could just eat pumpkin seeds.

I’ve been using ancient and brave bovine collagen for a year now, along with marine collagen capsules. I can’t say I’ve noticed any difference unfortunately!
