Help side effects of Slynd contraceptive

Hi everyone,

im really just after some of peoples experiences with a fairly new contraceptive mini pill called slynd. I was put on it last December to help regulate my sudden horrendous periods.
I’ve noticed since January that I’m experiencing some symptoms that seem to be perimenopause (night sweats, hot flushes, brain fog, hair loss weight gain and loss of concentration to name a few) so I spoke to a GP today (not one that specialises in women’s health) and she was about to palm me off because I’m only 34 until I started bawling like a baby! She’s arranged blood tests but has said it’s likely to be the pill! I’m limited to what I can take because I suffer Hemiplegic migraines.
I’m really not myself and it’s really starting to impact my mental health.
has anyone else who takes this experienced the same? Or am I likely to be entering the perimenopause?
I have blood tests booked in but the soonest appointment for them I can get is 4 weeks away 😭 so I’m feeling really crappy.

any experiences is appreciated

Could you ask to try a different mini pill that has different hormones in it?

DD on this for a few months. Some mood swings (though nothing new, really), no periods and weight loss. Overall, she’s pleased with it.
