Sex after hysterectomy

I am on a waiting list for a hysterectomy and have been told that my uterus and cervix will be removed. I don’t know why, but I just didn’t expect the cervix removal too. I am anxious about how sex will feel post cervix removal, worried it will feel different for both myself and DH.

has anyone any personal experience with the same?

I've had a total hysterectomy and everything is as before. The sensation is a bit different due to there being nothing internal, but still good.

I had a radical hysterectomy meaning everything removed. Neither husband or I have noticed any real difference apart from penis not touching cervix resulting in slight loss of sensation for me but all is good
