PMS all week and now nothing

I’m on CD 29. My cycles are generally between 24 and 29 days. Since Monday I’ve felt crampy, grumpy, and like my period would start any moment. Now it’s Saturday and I feel
completely normal.

Has this happened to anyone else? Why would my body do this?

I’ve just turned 39 and not using hormonal birth control.

Yes same here, had my period every 24 days for the last few months, whole week i felt like.it was coming any minute, day 24 today nothing happened and i have been full of energy today for some reason. I am nearly 43 and i have had really bad Pms for around 6 years lasting at least 10 days before period, its so bad that some days i feel like i don't want to he alive, i hope its not going to get worse

Day 31 now. After feeling great on Saturday, both yesterday and today I feel terrible. I feel exactly like I do when I have my period, but it still hasn’t come.

Crampy, achey, tired, grumpy, want to curl up on the sofa and cry.
