Sex after hysterectomy

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but wasn’t sure where to post!

I am on a waiting list for a hysterectomy and have been told that my uterus and cervix will be removed. I don’t know why, but I just didn’t expect the cervix removal too. I am anxious about how sex will feel post cervix removal, worried it will feel different for both myself and DH.

has anyone any personal experience with the same?

I had the same just over 18 months ago, and once I took my hrt properly and religiously I have to be honest, sex has never been better. Dh hasn't noticed anything different and tbh neither have I. I too was worried having so many parts missing, I also had my ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, but thankfully no noticeable difference. Well, apart from no more periods, heavy or otherwise, which was why I had mine (anaemic due to blood loss from polyps and fibroid's)
