I've had problems with pelvic pain for a few months, at times being very severe. I had an emergency admission at the start, where CT scan confirmed an irregular shaped lesion with suspected ovarian torsion due to cyst.
Had a laproscopy the following day, which showed no torsion. Surgeon had a look, took photos, came back out.
Obviously the pain wasn't resolved. I've been to and fro since. First follow up TVUS showed a functional cyst.
Had second follow up TVUS 2 weeks ago. Following which an urgent CA125 was requested.
The results for that aren't available on the NHS app - they're done, but not visible to me. Consultant's secretary also can't tell me.
I've got my next consultant appointment at the end of September. Which I appreciate is very quick in gynae world. The consultant is off for another few weeks.
I'm a real worrier and just want to know that the test results are! Should I do a subject access request? Or would they also hide the results until I've seen the consultant?
The (lovely) consultant's secretary is going to ask another consultant to review the latest US and CA125 results just incase it's more urgent.
