Waiting for CA125 result

I went for an appointment to get HRT and the GP also sent me to get a CA125 test as I have a lot of bloating, some abdominal pain throughout cycle and have been going to the toilet more and with more urgency. I thought they were hormonal/ IBS.
had blood test 2 days ago and had normal results for ‘urea and electrolytes’ and ‘routine biochemistry’ (which had no other figures in an says partial
report more tests to follow).
is that it or does CA125 take longer and will it show up with a specific number?
now I’ve read about what it tests I’ve been quite anxious!

I also have a dry mouth constantly but thyroid and other tests done before have all come back normal.

I’m waiting for a colonoscopy next week but I’ve had IBS type symptoms which I thought was related to my thyroid issues or hormonal. I had a full blood count and the CA125, and the latter came back 2 days after the FBC. Every chance your symptoms are what you think but better to be safe then sorry so good that your GP is trying to rule out other things
