Confusing Period

Hi all, first time poster but long time lurking. Just need to put my mind at ease about the Period I've got, never had one like this before, has come around the right time but not had any normal symptoms. Sorry for a long post and TMI

15th/16th started with stomach cramps from getting out of bed ( thought I'd just waited to long before peeing)
I the afternoon had sharp pains on left side.

Sickly and dizzy every day since.

18th started period, very light barely there flow, brown.

19th still light flow, stringy brownish with clear fluid.
Large fleshy type clot, dark possibly brown.

20th/21st light flow, cramps across lower belly and on left side,
20th had a negative pregnancy test. 21st flow almost stopped?.

I have been under a lot of stress this past month but had a normal period last month.
It's the 19th that's concerning me the most with the fleshy blood clot. I can't see a Dr till next week and a pharmacist just said it was stress. When I Google it says might be a early miscarriage? Can anyone help me please... I need sleep!!

It won’t have been a miscarriage if you got a negative test that close to your period and had a big clot. Not unless you could have been further along than 5-6 weeks. To lose a big clot you’d be further along and a test wouldn’t go negative that fast. I had a miscarriage just under five weeks recently and it took the best part of a week to go negative (normal 28 day ish cycle). HCG only suddenly drops that fast if implantation has just happened usually.

Have you heard of decidual casts? I’ve not had one but I know they exist. Some periods are weird, I’d be surprised if a GP would be worried when it’s just one odd period.

Very sorry about your miscarriage, hope your doing OK 💐

I hadn't heard of decidual casts untill this week, but from what I have read it is a triangle shape... This was roundish/oval.

Still getting cramps mostly on the left, almost in my groin but period seems to have stopped completely now.
