Haemorrhoids-do they ever fully resolve?

…or is this it for life now?
Suddenly started Wednesday with a toilet bowl so full of blood I couldn’t see the bottom. I now feel pressure and as if there is something just behind the entrance of my anus. I can’t see anything protruding so have started using the Anusol pessaries, assuming it’s internal piles.

I already have a rectocele to deal with, I’m just hoping this is something that will resolve so I don’t have to deal with this issue also 😞
Obviously if things don’t clear up, even temporarily, I will see a GP but just far too tender to even contemplate an examination so no point at the mo.
I’m just hopeful someone can tell me they suffered once and then never again.

That sounds like a bit more than internal piles with that amount of blood. Personally, I’d ring your GP for advice - and I think they’d want to see you in person.

Apparently that amount of blood isn’t concerning. 🤷🏼‍♀️

5 years ago I spent 13 months on a colonoscopy waiting list due to bleeding that amount every day.
The colorectal surgeon declared that I just had constipation and hard stools were scratching causing bleeding!
The pessaries have massively improved things tbh so I guess I will just have to keep a supply in stock for future issues.
