Orgasm and vaginal atrophy / GSM

Hi all

Here is an odd one for you. I have been a sufferer of vaginal atrophy and am being treated for it. I don't have penetrative sex anymore for a variety of reasons but still can orgasm via clitoral means. However, after this happens I don't feel 'quite right' for a few days afterwards. It is like still feeling somewhat aroused in the awareness / aching kind of way but it is in no way pleasant and is actually really annoying.

This actually started after I had a Mirena IUD so perhaps this is also something to do with it (don't have it anymore - was taken out about about a year ago)

Has anyone experienced anything like this and did you find any way to stop it?

Thanks for reading XX

Yep, I have this. It's horrible. No advice I'm afraid.

Hi @highlandponymummy I'm sorry to hear that. What do you think set it off for you?

Definitely the menopause. I'm 60 now and I took hrt for 3 years. I stopped 3 months ago. Biazzarely the dystrophy has improved. I use topical estriol daily.
