Cervical erosion - advice please

Has anyone had treatment for cervical erosion / ectropion?

I’ve recently had an exam (as part of menopause investigations) via an NHS gynae team and have found that it’s more severe than I thought. Plus I’m bleeding quite a lot (dripping fresh red blood into the loo) as a result of the swab that was taken then.
My Smear tests are up to date & have always been clear. I’m late 50s & so far test results show v low oestradiol despite being on Evorel Conti.

So, my question is, has anyone experienced treatment on the NHS & if so, what was it & was it effective?
Thanks for reading & for any advice you have.

I had cervical erosion due to many years on the pill and was regularly bleeding after sex. I had cryotherapy a few years ago and the bleeding has stopped completely. I had a bit of cramping and tenderness afterwards but nothing major. It has been a great success for me and I would recommend it
