I have been getting a lot of pain for over a year now in what i woudl consider my right ovary area, ive had scans etc currently waiting on my gynae appointment as they arent sure whats going on, anyway i started my latest Period 14th july- normal cycle (red) finished 23rd July since then I've had ongoing brown blood, I usually have quite heavy discharge but I've noticed discharge is no existent and despite the brown bloody I'm quite dry down there, other symptoms I've been experiencing since period started
Feeling really fatigued
Cold like symptoms
Very emotional
Anxiety high, I really don't like going to the doctors unless it's really necessary and currently working 8-5 mon-sat so don't currently have the time to go
Background info I have had 3 children, 1 vaginally, and twins via c section, sterilised 3 years ago (I am 30 now) and small cyst found at the time but was told nothing concerning, recent smear came back fine
If you've made it through this thank you ♥️

Have you seen your GP yet? If so what have they said?
It could just be hormonal or a bour of anxiety.
What scan did you have? Did it find anything?
Did your GP refer to gyne - if so why? It may be on that area but could be something else causing the issue not the right ovar as it would have to be either inflamed or some cysts to be causing an issue their. The brown blood just means it's been there for a while, but is perfectly normal.

Just an update for anyone going through the same, my gynae referred me for an MRI which picked up endometriosis, awaiting another appointment for next steps, just nice to know what's going on with my body more than anything

They could suggest a laparoscopy(keyhole surgery) which is the gold standard to detect endometriosis.
