Cysts Barholin cysts advice please!!

Hi iv recently took a little cyst on the opening of my private area it seems to flare up an down did burst a few months ago thought it was gone but seems to be back up again went to Dr's today its down to pea sized but no head forming can almost see yellow underneath Dr has referred me to gynae as a routine referral obv im bit worried bout that but just wondering has anyone else had these an how to get clear of them this one will not pop xx

surgical removal
you may be offered antibiotics first and a watch and wait over the course of them

You can try hot compresses / baths as well
they can be very stubborn

Thanks @rubyslippers can gynae be the only ones to remove them then I take it?I was silly to assume Dr might have had a go today she said she doesn't think its anything sinster an has put as routine referral which could take 6 months unless gynae decide to change me to urgent I have had a lletz treatment 2 years ago but I dont think its related I feel like I never leave gynae these days x

Don't try and pop.
Hot compress on the area.
They are quite common.
Mine vanished in it's own without medical intervention ...

Thanks @onceuponatimeinneverland I couldn't even bear to as it hasn't a head yet so feel be pointless squeezing it iv tired everything gona have to be more consistent with the hot compress etc I feel it only flares up every now an again the joys 🤦‍♀️

Yeah, hot compress twice a day for a week or two.

Or hit it with a bible.

Hahaha 🤣 @Discobooloo you think it would pop if I use the bible il try anything 😅 yea im gona keep at the hot compressed thing be more consistent it has shrunk but still there an hard as I say cant seem to rear a head on it I do get worried incase its something bad but this thread these comments are making me at ease x
