I have been diagnosed with internal haemorrhoids and recommended to have the HALO or THD procedure, and also told I have very slight mucosal prolapse evident that could be treated at the same time.
So I did what any normal (aka anxious) person does and googled it - to find hospital adverts saying it’s great with quick recovery and the odd forum post with folks reporting the exact opposite - pain / difficulties etc.
Has anyone had the procedure and happy to share their experience? I am nervous to have the op, but also nervous to leave things as they are incase it all gets worse!
