Tooth crown. Adjustments

Hi. I had a crown fitted six mnths ago, it seems to be fine. However when l had it fitted, there was a lot of adjustments at the back of the crown, he had taken off quite alot, so there is a tiny bit of my tooth showing at the back. The tooth is one at the front. I have spoken to the dentist and he said it was ok as long as the bite was fine. Anyone had any experience with this/crowns. Thankyou

I’m a dental nurse and this is fairly normal, it will never be absolutely perfect, is it really obvious?

Hi. No its at the back of the tooth, where he shaved off for the bite. But l did notice there was a lot of adjustment. So there is a tiny bit of exposure, l thought the crown had to cover al of the tooth for protection. It does look and feel ok. Thanks
