Ladies I need your help. I’m 31, had my second DC a year ago. Since then I’ve just not felt right. I sweat a lot during the day and I never used to. Yes I had a bit of armpit sweat in hot weather but now it’s whole body sweat. I’m petite, nothing has changed in terms of my weight or lifestyle. I’ve had loads of bleeding in between periods, I’ve tried different contraceptions but some have made me bleed constantly, some have me thrush, we settled on the coil and that did seem to settle the bleeding after 8 months but I do still spot occasionally, and now the past two cycles I’ve had thrush just before and during my period. I just can’t get away from any of it. In addition a week after my period I get horrendous cramps (I would say ovulation pain which I’ve never had before) but it happens on both sides so it can’t be that? It also comes with bloating. I just want to feel myself again. GP did a blood test which came back fine. I was just told things will get back to normal after the pregnancy, then after the coil. I feel like I’m just being told it is what it is because of those things but I never felt like this after first DC 5 years ago. Is this just older age now that is making recovery longer? What’s going on? Can I go back to GP and request something different? If so, what?

Sorry about the ramble! It’s just exhausting having all the bleeding, the infections, the sweating. Just never catch a break.

dear OP. i just wanted to comment to say you’re heard! i can sympathise with the thrush, which i am currently battling. i wonder whether labour / birth has disrupted your hormones somehow? something is clearly not right, and you should pester your GP, or women’s health clinic, until you feel better. how is your wellbeing? x

I’ve been similar since having my two and I don’t have a clue what’s going on. I also go ages between periods and get nausea like when I was pregnant to the point I lost a lot of weight. X

Thanks both! My wellbeing is fine, in fact baby sleeps well so I get the right amount of sleep. I eat normally, there are so lifestyle changes like I said.

Sorry to hear you’re both also not feeling right. I just feel like pestering doesn’t work as I’m always told to just wait it out 🙄
