First period on Cerazette?

So following finding out I’m anaemic, my doctor has put me on Cerazette to see if it’ll stop my periods and let my body recover iron/ferritin wise.

I started taking Cerazette 4 days before my period and my period is now late; is this typical for Cerazette? I logically thought my period would still come given that my body has technically gone through a whole cycle and needs to ‘get rid’ IYSWIM.

Not concerned about being pregnant - there’s absolutely zero chance!

I mean if it’s stopped my periods, great!

I’ve never had a period on it and I’ve been on it about 13 years.

I think mine was something like 40 days of nothing and then a ten day but very light, and most importantly completely pain free, period.

That was six months ago and I've not had one since.

Honestly, life changer.

Hopefully it's stopped them for you. When I had them I had a period off and on, mostly on for 3 months 😭
