Been almost a year. Getting fed up with it. Been doctor she prescribed thrush cream. Last appointment told by doctor that may be skin issue. She's given me another steroid cream. I'm bit hesitant to keep using steroid creams. 30 years old so definitely not menopause.
Please help with any suggestions?

I’ve had this and it’s maddening, the treatments I’ve done have reduced it but being honest it’s never completely gone.

i took flucomazole for 5 months straight! One week won’t hit a proper candida infection.

aqueous cream (not too much because it makes the wet conditions thrush loves worse)

hydrocortizone

i was told lichen sclerosis is vanishingly rare and gets suggested online all the time but in reality hardly anyone really has it

the most effective thing for me is avoiding sugar. The sugar in your urine makes the itching around your vulva 10x worse

Could it be Lichen sclerosis? I had this for many years before being diagnosed by a nurse who was fitting a coil.

How gently do you wash that area? And with what? I discovered that shower gel/liquid soap/anything other than mild cussons bar soap caused itching. I also used to rub far too vigourously and direct the shower head at the area to rinse it. All these contributed to redness and soreness and itching which would then lead to scratching in my sleep which made is sore, and red and itchy and the cycle never ended.
I'm mid 50s now and have itching on my perineum but I think thats more peri related.

I am doing a course of CanesBiotics (30 capsules) it seems to have stopped my problem for now.
