Varicose veins

Can any one recommend a treatment that they’ve had to remove really raised varicose veins
i have them in both legs particularly bad in thighs and behind knees
looked on line but would like recommendations

I had laser treatment to collapse the vein, then i had the remnants pulled out. It didnt do much for the veins behind my knee though. I also had the veins stripped on one leg. Kind of useless.
