Breast pain/indent under breast

Hi, I'm 27 and just been referred to the breast clinic for breast pain and a change of shape/dent in my breast.
I have no lumps when the nurse checked but referred me anyway to be safe but everywhere I've looked says cancer and scary things like ibc which is an aggressive form of cancer.
My boob has like a burning sensation to it more in the outer side and the indent ltshape is underneath.
I have bad health anxiety anyway and this is pushing me over the edge as I have a 2 week wait for my appointment.
I'm only 27 and have kids so I feel sick to my stomach it could be something serious.

I am sorry to hear you are going through this especially with health anxiety.
There are so many posts of other peoples visits to the breast clinic which can be helpful to read but if you’re prone to health anxiety sometimes the more you read the more anxious you get as you don’t find the reassurance you want.
I am sure you know the stats of breast clinic visits and the vast majority get clear results but you are probably spiralling and worrying too much at the moment.

And remember even if it is news you really don’t want there are so many women who have had treatment and have come out the other side.
I have been a few times myself- twice for lumps and twice for breast pain. All visits were fine.
I won’t tell you not to worry as it’s impossible but try not to Google too much and try and distract yourself as much as you can which isn’t always easy. Hopefully you will get an apt through soon- the last time I had one the Dr told
me to expect a longer than two week wait but they called within a couple of days offering me an apt quickly- hopefully this will happen with you X
