Thickened vessels in uterus

In the past year I have been having mid back pain on my right side just below my ribs. I thought it was possibly gallstones so went to my GP who referred me for an ultrasound. After 6 months of waiting, I called my GP reception only to find out the referral had never been sent. So I decided to go private as the pains had been getting worse.

I went for my private ultrasound yesterday. She was very thorough and scanned my whole abdomen. She found no gallstones, or anything else concerning in my abdomen. But she said she did notice some thickened vessels in my uterus. She never went into much details about what could cause this, but after researching, it says it could be due to a hormonal imbalance, endometrial hyperplasia (which can be a precursor to cancer) and adenomyosis. She said it was an incidental finding.

I'm glad there are no gallstones, but now I'm worried about this. I have had no symptoms of anything wrong in my pelvis. My periods are usually regular (except last month it was a very long cycle, then I had large clots). I have no prolonged bleeding, no pain etc.

I will be contacting my GP to go over the results and will ask them, but just wondered if anyone had been through anything similar? I'm 33 for reference and have had 2 children via c-section. I know it can be common post menopause but I am not at that stage yet.

Pelvic congestion? I had this picked up on an abdominal scan looking at ovarian cysts and got referred to gynaecologist. I had another scan a couple of months later to check the cysts and this time they said that there were no enlarged veins, she was quite certain.
