Perineoplasty Or Fentons procedure

I’m nearly 2 years pp. I had a third degree tear and episiotomy so I’ve got lots of scar tissue. I’ve been told I’ve got something called a skin bridge on my perineum i believe this happened as my stitches popped open.

has anyone undergone any sort of corrective surgery down below? And would you recommend it? Tia x

I had a Fenton’s procedure after the same thing. Prior to that I couldn’t have sex as it was so painful. Was fairly simple surgery and resolved the issue.

That’s good to know. Can I ask what recovery was like?

It’s a long time ago but I don’t remember it being too awful - good luck!
