Electrolysis

Hi all

I have had stubborn hair on my chin and top lip for a long time, I gave birth to my daughter 19 months ago and in October of last year decided to start electrolysis to permanently remove it.

It has been 9 months so far with barely any results - for the first 6 months I went for weekly sessions as that’s what I was advised. 2 months ago I said I would like to come every 2 weeks as I am spending a fortune on these electrolysis courses. She zaps the hair and completely clears it but it grows back within a week or so. She has said a couple of times in recent sessions that she hoped to have had better results by now and isn’t sure why it seems to be taking longer for more noticeable change. I am aware it’s a lengthy process but is it normal to see next to no progress at 9/10 months?

My lady has said to go to the GP to check my hormones for imbalances and I just feel really put out as I’ve spent £700+ and it hasn’t worked so far.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

I think you may have an underlying condition if the hair grows back or the electrolysis is not effective.
I had it done and the hair is gone.
