Total hysterectomy at 34

Has anyone had a total hysterectomy. I'm 34 and can't have anymore children as it's to risky I'm blessed with 2 DS.

I'll try and keep it brief but I have endometriosis, Ashermans , adenomyosis and have had fibroids I've had three gyny surgeries to try and remove,I've also had a LLETZ for CIN 3 and two c sections .

I'm in serve pain 70% of the time , because of the Ashermans blood isn't escaping . I had my second DS in Dec last year 9 weeks early as I had sepsis (he was born with it ). Due to my history my only option is a total hysterectomy ovaries have to go as well. Or to try and muddle through as best I can on medication for a while .

Because of the mess I'm in ,I will need a bowel surgeon present as well. It's all making me a bit nervous and I'm not sure if I should just try and cope with the pain best I can . I've been told I can't have anymore surgeries to try and remove as its becoming to risky. Has anyone been in similar situation? I don't want to swap one problem for another

I had one at 35 for more or less same reasons as you.. I'd already had 16 gynaecology operations.. my first daughter l had age 25 .. second one age 34.. that's how long it took.. then just before my 36th birthday had a total hysterectomy. Best thing l ever did.
Went on HRT for 10 years.
I'm 66 now.
Good luck.

I'm so sorry to hear you're going through all this. I had a total hysterectomy when I was 30 as a result of severe endometriosis. I reached the stage where I just couldn't cope with the pain any more, so opted for a hysterectomy, even though I hadn't had children by then. In the end my surgery lasted 6 1/2 hours but, once I recovered, I felt like I'd got my life back, and I have never regretted my decision. I really wish you well and hope that, whatever you decide to do, you are no longer in such pain 💜
