Sorry if this isn’t the best place to post this, I wasn’t quite sure.
I’ve known I have tubular breasts for a very long time and struggled on and off with poor body image. Mine are very small with no underboob, triangular with large areola that covers most of the boob and they point downwards, although when they’re cold they look pretty normal weirdly as the nipples shrink a lot - hard to explain.
I’ve never shown anyone but my husband as I feel a lot of shame about them. I’ve considered surgery a lot but I’m worried about the long term risks, the need to keep getting them replaced every 10-20 years and just the general cost. My husband isn’t keen on me getting surgery and is insistent that it doesn’t bother him and genuinely likes them how they are.
I’d be interested to know if anyone else has tubular boobs and if you have any self love tips. I like the idea that the more people don’t get surgery the more normal it’ll become, I think a big issue is lack of representation in the media which makes me feel like the odd one out.
