coil missed period discharge for 5 days

Hi I'm on the coil but was due on my period 9 days ago. & since Monday had increased discharge 1st thing of a morning when I wipe. Never had so much usually around ovulation but never as much at once or for this many days. Tested this morning negative. Any ideas?

Try not to panic! Which coil - mirena (hormonal) or copper? And how long have you had it for? Mirena can stop periods altogether - has for me.

nearly 3 years my sons 3 not long after. I'm not worried about period I have mussed on few months ago then month after heavier. it's the discharge as I've never had it like that before. maybe i had a smear few months ago said can see threads maybe i need it checking x

I think it is marina does the other one make them heavier
