Coming off HRT

Mid 50s - I've had enough - was told to come off my beloved Trisequens after 6 years. They put me on the gel and prog.tablets - made me so ill, then put me on Kliofem which I also didn't get on with, so I've decided to come off it completely as I was worried about clots and breast cancer anyway, plus being on HRT for 6 years is enough I suppose.

But now, I'm worried about the future - will I suddenly lose all my energy? Get an old face? Arthritis?!!

Rock and a hard place really.

How has everyone else been coming off it?

I have been on HRT for 20 years, started off on Kliofem and now have a Mirena Coil and Estrogel. There is no way I will give up. You can reduce the risks by keeping at a healthy weight and stopping drinking alcohol .
