How to find out when coil was fitted

I have a mirena coil in situ currently but cannot remember when it expires. I know I had it fitted around covid time because I remember it was in the days of masks and social distancing, which makes me think 2020-2021 ish.

It was fitted by gynae in hospital as a day surgery case because of an unrelated health condition which could flare as a result of the insertion. I must have been referred but I have looked on my NHS/GP record and cannot see any references to it.

How can I find out when it was fitted and indeed, when it needs replacing?

I’d contact your GP surgery, they might be able to track it down better than you can via the app.

Also, I was given a card with the date on with mine, might you have one of those stashed away in a file with other health info?

I was given one, probably put it somewhere "safe" - need I say more?! We've also had a house move since then which definitely won't have helped with locating it. I need to try and book a cervical screening appt so will ask them at the same time
