Breast reduction help

Morello339 · 22/05/2025 20:45

Hi everyone. For years I've wanted a breast reduction.

Always put it off as it seemed frivolous, and the pain seemed to just become part of life.

About 6 years ago I go offered funding on the NHS based in the fact my BMI was low, I have constant neck and shoulder spasm (proven with x ray), itchy, broken rashes etc.

By the time my consultation went through, covid hit and they've basically told me there is no chance now.

So I finally decided it is worth going for it privately.

I can't really afford it, but a couple of years of struggling will be worth it 6o not be in constant discomfort.

Has anyone gone private and can recommend a hospital (South East), and give any guidance they can. I'm clueless about private health care, and just need help before moving forward.

Thank you for reading

Yes I had it done in 2022 in the south east. The man you need is Fulvio Ursa-Baiarda. Have a google, find him on Instagram, do your due diligence. But he’s just about the best so trust me on this! He also did my tummy tuck in 2020.

Thank you. And was it quite a quick process ?

I think I had my initial consultation with him in something like March and then a 2nd meet up. I then went into his waiting list and I believe I had the surgery in September. One night in hospital - he now has his own private hospital I believe but back then, I was in Circle Reading

First step for you is to go and look him up and watch his videos online. He’s extremely personable and there’s loads of his results online. See what you think.

if you don’t go with him, just make sure you always go straight to a consultation with a surgeon. Never go via a rep

There's a girl on YouTube that's just had this done by the Nuffield. Demi Donnelly she just posted about her entire experience

My surgeon is retired now but he is referring people to Mary Morgan at the Nuffield Brentwood. I know someone having a reduction with her but not until September so can’t advise you on results until then I’m afraid. it’s about £12,500.

I have also seen Sascha Dua for breast lumps and she does reductions and is absolutely lovely, good results pictured etc.

also Manu Sood, not sure if he’s still there. Again, excellent results and the loveliest man. I have had surgery with him but not my breasts.

I recommend iwantgreatcare.com for reviews, but ultimately you need to meet them and see if you like them. I didn’t gel with the first person I had a consultation with.

good luck. Mine was life changing.
