I’ve been prescribed it for the opposite - to delay! Due period on first day of honeymoon and concerned about side effects x

Yes that can also be used but higher risk of clots and something else I can’t even remember that she said was more of a risk to me so going for provera. The lady I spoke to was a doctor in a private women’s health clinic so hopefully she’s given me correct info! Thank you x

Hi. I’ve recently taking this to delay my cycle on a holiday. Doctor said they prefer this now to norethisterone. I had no issues or side effects. Period started 3 days after my last tablet. Has been a bit heavier and more cramping but that’s to be expected. Have a wonderful honeymoon!x

I’m on a trip away and taking it at the moment. No issues other than if I don’t take it on time, I get a little bit of breakthrough bleeding so have to keep on top of it.
