Get-well-soon gift for MIL?

Hi all,
MIL, with whom I have a really good relationship, is currently an inpatient in hospital following a lengthy operation. She'll be in for at least another week and then will be having some nursing care at home for the foreseeable.

Although the operation went well she's obviously quite uncomfortable, has oedema in her hands and limbs, and is very understandably feeling rather sorry for herself. She's in her mid 60s and the surgery was pretty brutal.

I'd like to put together a little gift package for her – she loves brands like Norfolk Natural Living so thought I'd get some hand cream for her, but any other suggestions for what might help her feel a bit better would be really welcome! Especially if you or a loved one have been in hospital recently – I would love to know what made it all a bit more bearable. Thanks in advance!

Would she benefit from a hand and foot massage?
Could a practitioner come to her house?

A silk eyemask and earplugs!

Wet wipes
Lip balm
Evian spray
Flip flops to wear in the shower
A small perfume spray
Nice scented soap
Tinned syrop to cheer up her drinking water
Bottle of iced tea
Nail varnish if she's well enough for it
Notebook and pencil
I hope she gets well soon!
