I can't understand my cycle

Hi. Coming on here because I can't even find an answer on Google, so I'm hoping someone can answer this for me please.
Just started TTC baby number 2 as a very (reproductively) old lady (39). Last successful pregnancy was 17 years ago, and I've had a couple of losses since including an ectopic where I lost a tube (relevant to my question).
Since coming off birth control about 8 months ago, my cycles are exactly 28 days one month, 35 the next, then 28, then 35. Like clockwork. I cannot find an answer to this anywhere. It's regular, but irregular at the same time. I wonder if it has something to do with ovulation ie maybe I only ovulate half of the time due to the tube going? I would appreciate some insight if anyone has any please? I'm just trying to understand my body as much as possible to give us the best chance. Thanks

Mine have always been 33 then 31. No idea why. Possibly related to the moon 😆.

They then went to 35 then 33 for about 3 years.

Now they have gone back for 33 then 31.

Interesting point about ovulation - as the egg comes from one or the other side, do you think it could be a left right ovary difference? One takes longer?

That's a really good point and makes sense to me. I'd never thought of it like that before x
