Smear question

Hi everyone

I’ve just received a letter to go to my first smear.

I’m due on my period any day now and read you shouldn’t book on your period . Am I okay to book afterwards or is there a time limit like do you lose your appointment at all ?

Ring up and re book for a non period day

Just call and reschedule, you won't lose the appointment because they really want women to come in for smears

It’s sounds like you haven’t actually booked an appointment yet ? You don’t have to do it straight away . Just book it for when you won’t be on. Chances are you might have to wait a few weeks for a free appointment anyway .
