Blood urine dipstick

I’ve been on antibiotics now for 7 days for a uti. Still feeling sore (urethra feels sore, burning) but bladder pain, urgency etc all gone.

dipstick is still showing trace non-hemolysed blood.

does this mean the uti still hasn’t cleared?

never been in this position before.

Try going back to doctor. One of my children had a UTI and was given antibiotics, doctor sent urine sample off for analysis. It didn’t get better and a few days later doctor called to say different antibiotics, specific to the type of infection were needed.

Will do. Sooooo frustrating!
