Sporadic pain in breast

It’s not before/around my period when my breasts are tender. It’s quite random, I’ll suddenly be aware it’s hurting and then forget about it as it’s not prolonged pain. I don’t think I can feel a lump in the one that hurts. I had one before which was just a cyst but that wasn’t painful. Has anyone had similar?

Yes, going over a bump in the car hurt and otherwise random shooting and burning pains, no lump.
GP said breast pain is very common and unlikely to be anything sinister.
I had a mammogram and an ultrasound and nothing was found.

…but you should get it checked, especially if there’s a lump.
