I wonder if anyone can help? i had the above diagnosed years ago and had all the treatments they generally do like botox injections biopsies etc It was very painful but it did seem to quieten down and I had not had an attack for 2 years.
then last week I felt very uncomfortable. I had had a lot of sugar etc so usually that means thrush for me so I used a pessary which did not seem to do anything so I took an oral thrush treatment as sometimes one works then the other works. nothing. my bladder felt like someone had sandpapered it I started solifiacin 3 days ago my GP said take them when you have an attack which up until now was working as they have a terrible side effect of being thirsty.
they had not worked so went to GP today she took a sample just in case it was a UTI but was clear. then I was given a prescription of the same tablets and just told if it got worse come back. she said they would do internals in case there was tissue damage but cannot see why. i have no discharge or bleeding after intercourse and I have had a full hysterectomy.
I wonder if any lovely people on here had any suggestions to help me as all I do is feel washed out and just want to lie on the sofa
