Any advice please - UTI pain that’s not a UTI?

Hi everyone. I’m getting desperate now as I have no idea what’s going on with my actual vagina. I will try and keep this as short as possible.. I had a little girl 8 months ago, she’s my third, born via elected c section so I had a catheter in. Both my two sons were also born via c section and I never experienced this after they were born.

Anyway ever since I had her I’ve had urethra pain, it started as a very dull ache and after a month or two I did google it and it said it can be trauma from the catheter which to me did make sense. I then spoke to the GP who confirmed this as UTI tests were negative.

Gave it a further 3/4 months and occasionally I’d still get this wave of achiness in my urethra/vagina but it would disappear for sometimes weeks at a time which gave me chance to forget about it if I’m being truthful. The pain was honestly a 1/10 so nothing serious.

In the last two weeks it seems to have ramped up and is more there than it’s not. UTI tests negative although doctor did prescribe me 3 days of antibiotics anyway, I prayed they would work but it’s been 2 days since I finished them and nope. I was awake for hours in the night it was that uncomfortable and I’m now feeling the need to take pain meds.

I’m feeling very over it now and not sure what else to do? I’ve missed the opportunity to get another doctors appointment now as you have to call pretty much immediately at 8 to get one but I do plan on doing just that tomorrow morning. I will say I don’t feel the need to pee more, it doesn’t burn when peeing and with UTI’s I’ve had in the past my back has hurt (I’m assuming kidney pain) and I’ve had absolutely nothing like that. It is just a constant painful ache in my urethra and sometimes feels like it radiates to inside my vagina too.

Has anybody had any experience with anything like this before?

Thrush? Can present as an ache.
