Can you tell me about experiences of weight loss or weight gain on HRT?

Just wondering about experiences (I’m talking about using oestrogen gel plus progesterone capsules). Wanting to prepare myself! Many thanks

Hey, I put a small amount of weight on, but nothing significant. I think it was more being perimenopausal that caused the most weight gain, rather than the HRT

The first time I went on HRT, my bust size increased.

Might just have been my age, however. I later lost it through exercise.

Yes it’s a bit chicken and egg isn’t it!

It made no difference to me really. I gain or lose weight depending on what I am doing with my nutrition as I would expect.

I put on weight, I think due to the dose of oestrogen being too high

Anyway, came off it all and went through it ‘wild’

Turned out fine, I think due to a lot of attention to lifestyle factors (nutrition, sleep, exercise)
